About jobwelt
A live map of university opportunities in Germany
Discover opportunities
Explore jobs, PhD positions, HiWi roles, theses and research roles from universities across Germany.
All in one place
We bring together opportunities from different university websites, so you do not have to search every one of them.
Stay up to date
Our scrapers run every day, and anything that ages out drops off the board on its own.
Built by students, for students and researchers across Germany.
Rooted at FAU & TUM
jobwelt was created by students in Germany, with roots at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Our goal is simple: to make it easier for students and researchers across Germany to find the right opportunities.
We bring university and research opportunities together in one place, from HiWi jobs, internships and thesis positions to PhD roles and research staff positions.
Instead of searching through dozens of university websites, jobwelt helps you discover opportunities faster, explore them by university or city, and find roles that match your interests.
Help us improve jobwelt
jobwelt is built in the open. What you tell us is what decides where it goes next.

If your university is not listed on jobwelt yet, you can suggest it here. We read every suggestion and add what we can.

Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most. If yours is not here, send it to us.
Do you host applications?
No. jobwelt is a discovery service, not an employer or an application portal. Every listing links to the official posting on the university's own site, and that is where applications are handled. We host no application forms and process no applications.
How often is the site updated?
Scrapers run daily. Only current postings are shown; each one drops off the board automatically once it ages out, so nothing here is stale by months.
Can I suggest a university?
Yes — use the form on this page. A suggestion does not add a university automatically: we check that its careers page can be read reliably, then add it by hand. That check is why it can take a little while.
Where does the job data come from?
From each university's own publicly available careers pages. We copy no descriptions we were not given and invent no details a source does not provide — where a source states no posting date, we show when we first saw the job instead, and say so.
Can I send feedback or report a problem?
Please do. The feedback form on this page reaches us directly, and a broken link or a mis-filed job is one of the most useful things you can tell us.
